On our way to Beijing today!

We are off to Beijing today!Blog note- I am having a hard time posting photos- I may need to email them in separately. Our trip to Shanghai started with a long delay at the airport -but the surprise bag of travel gifts saved the day!

Thing turned around with a surprise upgrade to Business Class on the long leg to Tokyo (we took a shorter flight to Shanghai from there). Here we are celebrating our good fortune and Catherine with her socks and sandals/slippers.

We arrived well-rested, but without luggage!  I am going to post this now, and see how it works out. More soon!
